Perched high I survey the crowd
Your faces are turned away
I don't know what to say
And I know if I don't say something
Tomorrow will be the same as today
I tried to trust in nature
That humanity would change
We'd realize on our own
The epiphany on how our thoughts are strange
And it's not that there are villains
In fact that is the point
It's the search for a label to paint on the walls
Which keeps our growth off joint
We need our crimes and heroes
These debates just rage on in
